I'm Back...and just in time for a reveal!

It's been so long since I've shared anything. Life has been hectic with quite a few changes, mostly good, but it's definitely thrown me off my game as far as blogging and a few other things. Enough about that though...today is all about the Beach Blog Hop! You will have to forgive me this time I didn't get a before picture of the beady goodness Lisa sent...I was way to excited to get started!

The first thing that jumped out from the kit for me were the delightful charms and these flat top drill seaglass pieces...they screamed earrings! I will say I struggled between the palm trees and the starfish (you'll see those next). The pearls included in the kit were to small for my earring idea but I found a larger off white version in another kit I had from Lisa and they were perfect. These cuties are currently displayed for my weekly Hillsboro Tuesday Night Market. They will be listed in my shop if they don't sell in the next couple of weeks...or if anyone would like them feel free to email me about purchasing them.

As promised here are the starfish charms...aren't they fantastic!?! I decided they needed some waxed linen fringe which also allowed me to use each of the smaller bead styles included in the kit and some larger seaglass nuggets. I love the way these turned out...like flowing "Tide Pools".

This is my last design to share. A coordinated bracelet for the "Tide Pool" earrings. I used the rest of the seaglass nuggets to create links then added sections of wax linen fringe with the same smaller beads from the earrings fringe. It is a very fun, adjustable style. And of course would be great in a stack if I can ever get around to making a few more in these colors!

So that's it for me this round. I hope you enjoyed the pretties. Please check out the links below to see what everyone else made with their goodies. As always, a big THANK YOU to Lisa Lodge of Pine Ridge Treasures for putting together these blog hops! I have lots of summer shows going on but I am hoping to get back to some regular blogging soon...maybe share some show photos with you! ~Kari
